Go to Tampines Mall first — it has the widest range of fashion chains in Singapore East under one roof: Uniqlo, H&M, Zara, Cotton On, Bossini, and Charles & Keith. If Tampines Mall is too crowded on a weekend, Century Square (same MRT stop, less congestion) has H&M and Uniqlo. Dining. Bedok Mall opened in 2013 directly above Bedok MRT station and has positioned itself as the evening mall of Singapore East — its F&B tenants are stronger than its retail tenants, and the mall genuinely comes alive from 6pm when the after-work crowd arrives from Bedok MRT. The food court on the basement level (Kopitiam) is one of the better-maintained food courts in the east — clean, good variety, air-conditioned, and significantly nicer than the equivalent at older malls. What Bedok Mall does not do well

Parkway Parade is not exciting, and it does not need to be. It is a reliable, well-located, complete mall that serves the Marine Parade and Katong residential community. The architecture is dated but the tenant mix has been steadily updated. The main reason to choose Parkway Parade over Tampines Mall or Bedok Mall: location. The ground and basement levels have the strongest F&B concentration of any mall in Singapore East: the basement food hall has Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and local food options at slightly above-hawker-centre prices; the ground floor has several cafe and restaurant concepts with proper interiors and weekend brunch crowds. 112 Katong is where Katong residents eat when they want something nicer than a hawker centre but do not want to travel to Orchard.
